Your post is perfectly appropriate here, but since one of your main questions appeared to be about medications, I took the liberty of starting a thread for you on Psycho-Babble (one Psycho), which is the medication board. Have you contacted your son's doctor and psychologist about this? They are probably best qualified to answer your questions, especially since your son is so young.
