there is a big race at the moment where many universities around the world...

are either fast-tracking degrees or holding degrees up.

either you can get your degree early without having completed requirements in the name of pandemic...

or you can accept that you will have to wait longer than you planned.

they reckon around 1/2 of the people in their final year of med school in places like harvard...

where choosing early graduation and work (paid?) placement i guess in hospitals before starting their residencies that had already been set up.

instead of what they were supposed to do which was internship before graduation.

the other half, i guess they have to wait to graduate. because they can't do their internships as planned, right now, because the hospitals are either over-run by CoronaVirus or... locked down in some way.

many being sent home. no work for you right now -- sorry.

and apparently... much in teh way of staff training.

i think i would elect to wait.

The situation reminds me of maleria epidemic as a way of dealing with too many endentured servants.
