Selegiline Alternatives?

Posted by GoodOlJoe on June 3, 2011, at 5:33:37

Hello,

I am a 60 year old male in good phyical health (so far).
I started using Liquid Deprenyl over 10 years ago when the DEDE product was still available. Once that product was taken off the market I switched to Liquid Selegiline or Celepryl. I took these products for the purpose of aleviating low dopamine disorder causing severe mental and physical depression. In the beginning I would take from 10 to 20 drops (mg) per day then as time went on I needed less and less until lately I only use about 5 to 10 mg per month. Now that the stupid US FDA has labeled it a narcotic (not) and took it off the market (if it's available somehow please let me know) I am wondering if any one with experience has tried the hydrocloride tabs in place of the liquid? Does it work or should I find an alternative MAO-B replacement like Mirapex and or Rasagiline?

If I don't find a replacement once I run out of my supply I will be in real trouble so information which may help me with this is very appreciated.

Thank you,
Joe
