I cannot speak from personal experience regarding MAOis, anyways...Buprenorphine may be helpful in low dose range as anxiolytic/antidepressant (Both personal experience and scientific opinion). Just keep in mind Bup has complex pharmacology. In addition to Kappa antagonism and partial Mu agonism, its metabolite Norbup is Nociceptin agonist. Theres some stuff in the literature saying Nociceptin agonism may have therapeutic potential. Also mixed evidence of low affinity partial agonism at Delta receptor, which is also antidepressant perhaps.
Amphetamines would likely be good as augmentation instead of monotherapy. Can help with fatigue/executive function but little for negative mood.
