I think (maybe someone else can confirm my thoughts on this), that Type 1 diabetes is the kind you inherit, and Type 2 is the kind you can develop as an adult, due to various reasons.
Have you been really thirsty?
Do you take Zyprexa?
Do you have Hypoglycemia?
Are you overweight?Also probably the simplest thing to do to find out would be to have your blood sugar tested in a doctor's office.
