Spriggy--are you certain that it's yeast? I used to get chronic bacterial infections that mimicked the symptoms of yeast (itching, redness, discharge, etc.). If this is the case, then an anti-fungal like Monistat won't touch it. I was prescibed something called "Metro-gel" that cleared it up. However, if you have been checked by a doctor and are positive that this is indeed a persistent yeast infection, your best bet is probably just to keep starving it through diet (NO sugar, white flour, fermented foods, yeasted bread, etc.) and keep doing the probiotics. I have also used a product called Three-Lac to deal with yeast. It's a super-powered lactic acid bacteria compound and seems to work quite well. It is, however, pretty darned expensive and can only be purchased on-line. You can do a search on google to get more info. It might be worth it to you. Hope you feel better soon!
