that situation pretty much sucks. I understand how you feel, fairywings...if it had just been a drunk frat boy, that would be different but...somebody who seems skeezy, and already is in trouble with various charges...thats a bit troubling. Ordinarily, I'd say she should testify to make sure justice is done, blah blah blah, but if he's already up on drug charges, odds are he's going to be facing some sort of court-imposed punishment anyway, so I don't see what forcing your daughter to testify against him would do for anyone.
