Yes. I have read it and reread at times, as needed (it's short, so it's easy to do that). I found it very helpful for me when I was depressed.

BTW, when it first came out, I remember hearing Styron in an interview on NPR, and at the time(late 80's I think?), I think he was the first (or one of the first) celebrity writer to address his depression in a book. I remember thinking him very brave, and I've often felt very grateful to him for his book.
