Hi Scott,

I am not 100% sure of the but I think Lecithin works like PS since it is made of phospholipids which are similar to what is in that substance.

I definitely feel like my brain is more alive since I started taking it. I am trying to get the right dose as even though I only took 1/2 tsp for lunch, I feel too wired. Live and learn.

The advantage it is so much cheaper than PS,

When I researched these substances, I found that they were ideal to meet my desire to supply the brain with the raw materials to support healing. These two substances might be synergistic in promoting the repair of neuronal membranes and the growth of neurites. This is speculation on my part. I haven't received my order of fish oil yet, and I am not inclined to start PS at this juncture. Another substance that I chose to use to support neurotrophism is lithium. Low dosages of lithium (150-300 mg) increase cytosolic levels of BDNF and bcl-2, two substances that act as "hormones" for neuron growth and maintenance.
