I find that 250mg works best for me, but like you said, it can interfere with sleep in some people. It provides a mild mood boost, but I really don't think I need it with all the other things I'm supplementing with. I find the essential fatty acids to be better for mood than the DLPA, but this may not be the case for everybody. Higher doses of DLPA seem to be too activating for me, and this spells trouble when you have schizophrenia. Plus, I don't need any more trouble sleeping than I already have.
