The best result from the DLPA is with the Thorne Research brand. It works very well for depression. However, it is rather activating so if you have a concomitant anxiety disorder, it might not be the best supplement to take. You would probably do better on GABA or tyrosine, which seems to be less activating in my experience. What I like about DLPA is its effect on endorphin levels. This promotes a healthy mood, but what I'm concerned about is whether elevating your endorphin levels everyday is a wise thing to do. Can you have a withdrawal effect from taking DLPA?
