Hi Amelia.

A PDF file of an oldie but goodie book on supplements for depression can be downloaded here, free of charge from the author:

http://www.thewayup.com/upfrmdwn.htm

The recommendations jibe with more current books I have, so I wouldn't consider it outdated despite its age. The main exception is the absence 5-HTP as an alternative to tryptophan, since it wasn't available when the book was written. (You can find out more about 5-HTP on her site and elsewhere.) I think this would be a good one to start with, especially since you can download it immediately and start reading right away.
