Fish Oil, Borage Oil and Getting Better

Posted by karinamarie on October 14, 2008, at 1:03:42

Hi my name is Karina and I am very new to Psycho-Babble having only visited once or twice before. I came a few weeks ago looking for any information on supplements that might help my Bipolar Affective Disorder. I was delighted to find more information that I thought was available. I read Lao Tzu posts about Fish oil and Borage Seed oil with great interest. I decided to start taking them to see if they would improve my mood. I am excited to report that they have and I feel so much better than I did a few weeks ago. I can say with confidence that they have helped even me out. I feel more balanced and calmer than I have all year. The depression I was feeling even with my meds has lifted. My energy levels have increased and I am doing more, getting out more and living more. I am currently taking Lithium, Tegratol, Carlson Norwegian Salmon Oil 2000mg and Paradise Essentials Borage Seed Oil 1000mg. I am also taking Paradise Essentials MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) to increase my energy levels. Just adding these supplements has made a huge difference to my life. I am learning that you need to more than just take your meds being pro-active about my illness is very important. I am helping myself and that is a powerful feeling.

Thankyou again to Lao Tzu. Smiles from Australia!

Karina
