If your OCD is bad, you may want to keep the remeron to as low a dose as is possable to help sleep.
Remeron can sometimes make OCD worse, due to 5-ht2a/c blockade.
You may want to experiement with 5-htp, which generally mixes well with remeron.
Some of the investigational drugs for OCD work by modulating glutamate release. You may get some effect with things like theanaine or vitamin C.
Another one you may want to try is oleamide. A fatty acid. Its in olive oil. It binds to 5-ht2a/c and can help with sleep, and anecdotatally with OCD.
Magnesium may help or exaserbate symptoms.
melatonin may help with sleep and potentally help lower the dose of remeron.
Low doses of opiates sometimes help OCD, but use at your own risk.
SJW also has some evidence as a treatment for OCD, but may behave similar to an SSRI. It may also not mix well with remeron, and may cause insomnia.
