I've heard of vitex but not that much and not in terms of preventing depression. Hormones are playing a big part in my mood problems these days, I believe. I'm 51, thought I was done with having periods after two years without, only to have one this past winter. After that long, it was most unwelcome. But I did notice that I really slept good around that time but only for a short time.
It's really frustrating to have so little reliable information sometimes, isn't it?
