I had this procedure done. It diden't do anything despite all the different settings and time. I think vagus nerves "wandering nerves" are highly variable in the way they interlace through various bodies and brains, so the response to treatment will also be highly variable and thus one person's failure is just an anecdote and not a predictive model that makes sense to emulate. All that said the procedure really sucked *ss, it f*cks with your emotions in a strange way and makes your stomach hurts like hell when the stimulation is discontinued. Don't let my negative experience dissuade, just allow it to give you a more critical eye when approaching a novel procedure with very little data.
