I reassembled my water pipe and mixed together the following:
2 TBSP Kratom Leaf (finely ground)
3 TBSP Calea Zacatechichi (slightly ground)
1/4 TSP Passion Flower Buds (partly ground)
1/4 TSP Mexican Tarragon (very finely ground)
Kratom is indigenous to Thailand, the only country where it's illegal. Reported to energize the body while easing the mind. Also an aphrodisiac. Usually chewed or gulped quickly and may cause severe nausea. Some reports of smoking it.
I tried smoking some by itself a couple days ago and thought it had a stimulating, euphoric effect. Vision, vivid; mind, lucid.
Calea Zacatechichi is also known as Dream Herb and used by shamans for visions and dreams. I tried a little (small bowl) and it, too, had a stimulating effect. Yet at the same time, I felt a little stoned.
I've yet to try the Mexican Tarragon. It, too, is used in religious ceremonies to experience visions. The smoke is said to produce euphoria and "closed-eye imagery".
Finally, I cautiously added a few partly ground passion flower buds. Passion Flower usually knocks me out and would probably cancel the aphrodisiac, euphoric effect I'm looking for.
Yet passion flower is also noted for its anti-depressant qualities and is often thrown into "men's" or "vigor" (steel libido) herbal formulas. (I need all the help I can get as long as I take cymbalta)
I'm still undecided whether I'll continue with cymbalta. At a therapeutic dose (40-60mgs) I become completely anorgasmic, suffer "steel-stool" syndrome (constipation), and use too many parentheses. (maybe too many commas and the word "too", too) But a dozen pellets from an opened capsule (a couple mgs of cymbalta) a few hours before sex is an incredible aphrodisiac.
I will try my mix a little later this evening.
