Probably not. SAMe is supposed to modulate neurotransmitters, in particular seratonin. I think there has been differences of opinion about the dopamine angle. Apart from sometimes causing mania and insomnia I don't think there are too many problems with it. It gives me a bit of a warm sunny feeling. (If I took enough, it did once anyway) For me I would rather be taking it and a lower dose of drugs. Currently taking it with a bit of moclobemide. Maybe the SAMe potentiated that a bit.
