It is intriguing to think about the Fish Oil effect on my labs. My Trig level was great. My HDL was A L M O S T to the bottom level of where it needed to be. LDL and total were the areas that appeared to "need work".
I do know my dietary indiscretions are showing and this check was, admittedly, a look see to give me an incentive to change habits.
I really don't want to D/C the fish oil for my next lab check, in a few months. I have come to know when I'm not taking it.
Thinking about it, I would have really thought ingestion of fish oil just prior to lab stick would have had more effect on Trig levels. Fasting levels were done. Taking meds and H2O was okayed and I included my FO dose that AM.
Gives me something to consider in the overall picture of why labs may look the way they do. Fish oil use will continue despite --- it's just too good for me.
