You can get tablets, too - thye're cheaper!

I've often found it nips a cold in the bud. My guess from the meager info on the label is that the active compond is slightly modified in the extraction process and is what chemists call a "quaternary ammonium compound", which are often very powerful bacteriostatics and destroy germ cells partly by dissolving their membranes - maybe similar effetct on viruses.

Anyway, my eclectic MD, who practises the best of traditional AND complementary medicine, has been recommending it for years.

Just don't chew the tablets!
