Mcgill University and magnesium

Prior to ww II magnesium was used to treat manic depression.Mcgill University,which is in canada,has a big study that says it works better than lithium with no side effects.800 milograms a day .200 milograms 4x a day.Magnesium is the co enzyme for the inositol monophoshate enzyme that has been found to be defective in manic depression.Dr. Bruce Ames says the use of a large dose of the co enzyme can correct a defective enzyme.
