Question for the Hoovermeister

Posted by McPac on September 30, 2003, at 20:51:09

Lar,
was reading about anxiety on the 'net....saw this:
"In people with chronic anxiety unrelated to life events, an injection of sodium lactate will trigger a panic attack. Eating a lot of foods high in refined sugar increases blood lactate levels and can induce panic in susceptible persons."

I just bought a lot of liquid calc/magn. (6 bottles), containing calcium lactate, magnesium lactate, also contains potassium lactate, some zinc lactate...so is it just the sodium lactate that is contraindicated for high anxiety folks OR would ALL forms of lactate, like the formula I bought, be problematic? Thanks for your expertise Hooverman!
