Is It Possible to Have a Tests Message Board?

Posted by Lonely on July 1, 2006, at 0:27:57

Or, perhaps a "Medical Tests" message board. Of course, there are psychiatric/psychological/neuropsychological tests too that could probably be lumped together under a "Tests" board.

I've had med tests that didn't go so well, some that were no big deal despite apprehension, and my hubby has had several too ranging from neuropsych to medical. Sometimes the tests are helpful and sometimes they're not. Sometimes I'm just annoyed that it was done or wonder about the meaning/significance of it. Of course I've read about them quite a bit over the internet but in some cases ran into message boards where I perceived responses as nasty put-downs. I guess I'm looking for a safer place to bring up those issues.

I know this is a mesage board slanted more towards mental/behavioral health issues but the trend seems to be, in the more advanced circles, to recognize that many mental/behavioral symptoms have biological roots. I recognize too that Psychobabble has a Health message board where I have posted and have read others' responses but "Test" or "Testing" is a bit more specific. Also, I've taken free tests on the internet and sometimes wonder about them and what others have experienced.

Just a thought ....
