Yes but this begs the question, what is the difference between the brain and the mind?

Also, yes, mental health issues are often caused by the interaction between the environment and intrinsic factors. The advice for people suffering with depression is to go for the package treatment of medication and therapy. However, if this truly was the answer, then most people with unipoloar depression should be able to take medication to help them and at the same time receive therapy to sort out any deep rooted psychological issues or situational issues.

If medication combined with therapy was the answer then surely, once any situational or deep rooted psychological issues have been resolved then surely the patient should be able to cease their medication.

I imagine that therapy helps people with situational depression but in my case it did jack sh*t. Whereas took me from hell to heaven (when it worked)

I get so tired in the UK when the focus is always on therapy (especially what has been the buzz word for the last 10 years "mindfulness"! The last thing I want to do when I'm suffering from agitated depression is lie there being mindful of how crap I'm feeling.
