yeah lithium sounds like a good stablizer, what happened when i went to the hospital was they said i was manic, not psychotic....but manic and they said you need to be stablized, i left the nurse practitioner office, the next day i woke up to take my meds, they said your starting lithium 150mg twice daily, and librium. Then they reduced my Prozac to 40, they said your not gonna be on 80 because your manic. It was not prozac that doing it, i had not slept in days - and that's what made me in crazed state. I rerember it did have a soothing effect on thoughts, and equalzing feeling. But i didnt like it, one because they lowered prozac, so i was little depressed. Prozac is my only weapon against depression, so everyday load 80mg to kick depression. But i don't know, lamotragine does stablize my mood, it pulls me out of a slump, but doeonst have uplifting effect like prozac. It's a good stablizer that work more on depression, but i was reading posts from reddit, there was post they said : Bipolar I - Lithium, Bipolar 2 - Lamotragine
