I didn't and don't get anxiety from trintellix, so this does not exactly address your question. I also switched from Lexapro. Trintellix does not quell anxieties as well as Lexapro, but that effect on anxiety became the problem with Lexapro. Complete apathy. I have GAD for real and an AD alone was never enough for me. Lyrica was and is the only medication that helped my GAD. Moreso than xanax.

I take 20 mg Trintellix and 200 mg Lyrica and my anxiety is fairly under control, depending on the political news :)
