If you can't tolerate lithium, you can use Trileptal in its place. An antipsychotic is probably indicated as well. As C_E suggests, Abilify has a documented history of being effective and safe. From what I understand, the combination of Abilify + Lamictal works well for bipolar depression.

Friends,
It is written above by Scott. The promotion of the drugs he is advocating could cause addiction, life-ruining conditions and death. This is all being promoted here by a psychiatrist allowing Scott to post advocating mind-altering addictive drugs without specifying the adverse consequences that could befall the readers that are decived to think that these drugs are safer than they really are. And worse, readers could think that there are no consequences at all by taking these drugs that Scott is advancing here as "medicines." They are not medicines because they do not treat a disease or cure. They cause disease and can increase depression and cause psychosis and brain damage and induce suicidal and homicidal thinking.
The FDA requires precautions to be posted along with promotions of drugs in media, including here. The issue is if the drugs are being advertised, and if Mr. Hsiung is being paid by the drug manufacturers. I do not think that is correct, as here the drugs are being promoted by a doctor as being medicines, which I think constitutes false advertising that could lead to your death. By Mr. Hsiung using third-parties, like Scott here, and that his rules are to be supportive, then a reasonable reader could think that Mr. Hsiung is himself promoting these drugs that kill thousands of people each month. And worse, Scott's promotion of these drugs could be a reckless disregard for the truth and Mr. Hsiung does not intervene to point that out to you. This could lead those without a shepherd of truth to be led astray by the advertising that could deceive you into thinking that these drugs are safer than they really are and be led to your death.
If you could take this advice I give you, like a brother, find out the whole truth, or does it all go through one ear and out the other?
Lou
