What would be an acceptable substitution for the term "mental illness"?
I think it is unfortunate that this term has not shaken the misunderstandings that much of the public still have of it. Does your brain illness manifest itself as changes in mentally function? Are these changes the dominant and defining symptomatology of your brain abnormalities?
I am not pushing a term down your throat, but I would be curious to know what you would choose instead.
