S-AMe is very often combined with a serotonin reuptake inhibitor. Some articles describe success doing this when treating TRD.

Why? To the best of my limited knowledge, S-AMe is not a MAO inhibitor, despite being labelled such in some ancient literature. I could find nothing on Medline describing this. Is there another reason the combination of duloxetine and S-AMe is contraindicated?
* S-AMe is the proper abbreviation for S-Adenosyl Methionine. I don't know how pop culture came to SAM-e. Sloppy transcription, I imagine. Just a little pet peeve of mine.
Given the severity and chronicity of your illness, I think you should research further the safety of combining S-AMe and duloxetine.
