lamictal reduces depression phase of mood disorder

Posted by rjlockhart37 on April 13, 2015, at 21:20:02

i had a couple beers to calm down today the initial euphioria is good, relief, mild euphoria but it turns to depression, things are slow and feels bad.....i don't take the lamictal in the mornings anymore...

but usally alcohol makes me depressed after the first couple hours, have no motivation energy just, like a muddy slop, but the lamotragine has an effect when i take when im in a depressed phase from alcohol, it's not only right now, but it's done this many times in the past i take it couple hours before bed, it's like this......it will pull me out of the mud slop state, but it won't let me get high in the sky excitement.......it's like a floor, and a ceiling.....it keeps you from falling but keeps your from rising out of the ceiling.....no mania, or euphoric moods

the lamictal i've noticed has taken effect, lamotragine's antidepressant properties with mood disorders are knowedgable.......it got me out of the mud slop state i was just in......but im not in euphoric good mood, it's like right in between low and high, the middle.....it will improve the mood but not like a prozac uplift......

im better for right now, i was in a horrible phase and didnt have enough energy....to do anything.......

but im taking it at night, the prozac and the nuvigil are the ones that seem resistant......

not a genius but understand pain
