This behaviore is not typical of temporal lobe problems. Its more typical of frontal lobe issues. You could be bipolar and your mixed episodes may manifest as rage attacks-bipolar disorder involves a degree of disregulation in the pre frontal cortex. If your EEGs are normal and you haven't experienced a tbi, it would be hard to say what your affliction is.

One thing I would try is Lithium. Lithium has been used a long time to control aggressive behavior and if you do well on it we may have a clue as to whether your bipolar or not.
