I wanted you to know I read your post, still digesting. I can't immediately contribute anything helpful, but please know that you have been read. What a horrific experience.
I have been through addiction and immediate cessation of one med at a time; nothing like your experience. The damage reflected by the scan may have more to do with the length of time you've been using, and old you were when you started. Young brains (under the age of 16, from what I have been told) can sustain damage from some illegal drug use.
I will let the more knowledgable people here wake up and have a chance to give you some feedback.
