hey man...
I just read some PubMed stuff that remeron, @ 30mgs/day or more, helps treat akathisia from antipsychotics. I imagine it would help anxiety, sleep, tension, and mood problems, too. Its been studied as an add-on in schizo-disorders with good results. Its generic and cheap.
Maybe a combo therapy? I looked it up, and Abilify+loxapine is a surprisingly well-tolerated combination. I think Jeroen mentioned "AbiliQuel," the mix of Abilify and Seroquel.
Buspar has also been studied with antipsychotics, with some good results. I think its 2-3x daily dosing, though :-(
I'm on Abilify, and I recommend it to everybody. I take 30mgs/day, the biggest pill they make (and the highest FDA-approved dose). Maybe start on a high-ish dose of Abilify (my shrink started me on 20 back in the day) with some remeron, neurotin, hydroxyzine, or something to help with sedation?
Just throwing some ideas your way...
