Yes. Pristiq is earning a reputation for being more forgiving with respect to side effects than is Effexor. In addition, some people are responding better to Pristiq than they did to Effexor. However, I would not want to generalize. I doubt that this is true in all cases.

Yes, it is. However, it is a good sign that you experienced a "blip" improvement, even if it does not persist beyond the first few days. How long have you been taking Pristiq, and what is your dosage?

The drug is called minocycline. It is currently used as an antibiotic, but it has many properties that influences brain biology.
