Strength training 1-2 times a week
Swimming once a week
Martial arts classes twice a week

Basically adding up to exercising 4-5 times a week.

The effect is like alcohol. I feel great right after it. A couple of hours later I'm back to being anxious.

Punching my heavy back agressively until I get emotional and feel like I'm going to sob and my fists are mildly bloody...Calming effect lasts about a day. But again, once that wears off I'm back to square one.

The last time I got rid of my anxiety it was by feeling anxious and not avoiding it until I just didn't anymore. Remission lasted 7 years.
