I posted before about the neighbor lady supposed to be paranoid schizophrenic. She finally about two weeks ago disappeared and was found in a different state at a stoplight staring into space and when she didn't drive when light green police were called. Evidently she didn't respond to police continued to stare so police broke car window and she's now hospitalized. But it's so strange to me that something isn't right in that diagnosis as even though paranoid at times before hospitalization she would respond to people talking to her lucidly. Even asked a neighbor to take her to get gas as car ran out. At one time she earned 6 figures working in a hospital for a research lab. Even though I worked in the psych field something is missing in the rumor diagnosis. She's in 50's. And yes the dog was found dead. But can a paranoid schizophenic act "normal" at times and converse? I know I never cared for someone like this. What do you think her diagnosis could be. Some form of bipolar with psychotic features, a rapid cycler? It just doesn't fit her diagnosis. Thanks Phillipa
