pain relief that does not slow down gut motility?

remeron gave me a major crohn's flare up and another inflammatory reaction, which has left me in severe pain this week.
Usually for crohn's I never ask for pain killers, but this is too much.
Doctor said no to opiods because those could cause constipation due to slowed down gut motility.
Are there any stronger-than-NASAID pain relievers that do not do this? I searched and couldn't find anything (other than stuff that would be completely out of the question)
