emsam anxiety dosage derealization

Posted by n_shrimpie on August 23, 2012, at 16:30:35

i've been on 12 mg emsam for months, and while it's worked as an antidepressant, it hasn't touched my derealization, which i've been told is anxiety based. However, I ran out of the 12 mg patches last week and was using the 9mg and had a few days of complete clarity but now the derealization is back in full horrible force. Does this make sense? when i was on the 9mg ramping up to the 12 mg the derealization was there so I doubt reducing it to 9m had anything to do with it. Has anyone had this experience? Should I try reducing to 9mg? if i do will the depression return? The derealization is destroying my life; it's torture.
