Lastnight I increased the dose to .75 mg (as previously suggested by my psychiatrist). Woke up this morning and passed a fairly large amount of urine. Now I remember the same thing happening when I started with this med, but didn't really think much of it. Unfortunately, this time I just thought I'd just check for this on Risperidol's side effect profile, and of course found it listed with those symptoms that "require immediate medical attention"!

Unfortunately I won't be able to speak with my pdoc for a few days, so I'm at a loss on what to do. Is it possible that this is really only a minor commonly experienced side-effect that will pass ina few days, or should I reduce the dosage and start considering another antipsychotic?

These chances may not have been disclosed to you by your doctor/prescriber, the drug manufacturer, the people that may respond to your plea for help, the owners of web sites dealing with mind-altering drugs, school authorities, television promotions of drugs in the advertising, periodocals that have advertising for mind-altering drugs and such.

Bit is could be much more than that. You see, these stats come from {reported} events. Not all events are reported.

schleprock,
Now let's do some critical thinking.
First of all, be advised trhat Mr. Hsiung has posted prohibitions to me here that prevent me from posting facvts that IMHO could save your life or prevent you from getting a life-ruining condition/addiction. These prohibitions could be based on Mr. Hsiung's thinking that members here are to trust him in his thinking because he states that he does what in his thinking will be good for this community as a whole. So by the nature that there are prohibitions to me here, and I think that death could result to some because Mr Hsiung has peohibited me from posting what could IMHO prevent death, then death could be thought by some to trump what I could post that could be life-saving information.
And be advised that people here could post to you all kinds of advise to take other drugs on the basis that it {worked} for them. But what does {worked} mean? If you want to find out, read the other posts from whoever may post to you and see what condition their condition is in. You see, {worked} could be a transiant {placebo} effect. If it was, then seeing a witch-doctor or voodoo person could have had the same effect? Now it also could have worked on the basis of the drug. But heroin could {work}. And other chemicals, but the payback could be death or a life-ruining condition.
Now the chemicals in Risperdal I am prohibited from posting a lot of fcts about that I think could save your life. You see, I have made a study of the history of mind-altering drugs and their development as {nerve-agents}. The chemical constituants are not new, but in some cases thousands of years old. Some of these drugs are just knock-offs of old drugs with new names. Some have constituants from agents used in mass-murder or riot control. These driugs can be leagally prescribed to you and you could become addicted or die or get a life-ruining condition. Could you ask your doctor what the chances are of your death from taking Risperdal? If he says thathe doesn't know , then I would (redacted by respondent)
