You should take the SR version. Its inbetween the instant that you take and the XL version. Thats what I take, the SR. You could take 100-150mg, that should give you energy. I take 200mg once in morning. The generic is good too, thats what I take. I hardly notice it anymore, but if I come off it I notice the slow tired feeling.
