P -

The difference is that I was upbeat, more loving, more connected spiritually, even more witty. I swear it was my paxil tapers that altered my brain chemistry and thus my mood.

By the way, this is hard to explain but I was not depressed when I went on paxil. I remember my life well at the time. Not perfect - don't expect it to be, but going well and happy in a natural sense.

I went on it for this head pressure crap that I was having. It did nothing for me noticeable except take that head pressure away. It didn't have any noticeable side effects at all. But... when I wanted to go off of it, that's when all hell broke loose and my mood along with it. I've been trying to feel like myself again ever since.

I function yes. I go to school and do all kinds of things that seem perfectly "normal" but I know me and how I should be feeling.

I hope I put it in a way you could understand.

How are things going with you?

Hugs....

Laney

Current meds:
10mg. paxil
50mg. nortriptyline
.5mg. clonazepam

Of all the meds I've tried, nortriptyline worked the best but I gained 20lbs or so in 9 months.
