I just thought of something! gradual withdrawal of the amphetamines and gradual introduction of a benzo. The benzo takes the edge off amphetamine tapers and also should help calm down (hypo)mania, anxiety, agitation, and irritability. It could also deal with any activation from the atypical (I have NO idea what Latuda is like, but some atypicals do seem to energize people a bit).
