Good questions. You might experience some withdrawal after as few as 3 weeks of treatment. How bad is it? For you? I don't think anyone can tell you in advance how your nervous system will react to Effexor discontinuation. The severity and persistence of the withdrawal syndrome is variable. Some people have an easy time of it.

If Effexor works for you, how long will you remain on it before discontinuing?
