Now I would like for you to look at the stats for those attempting to kill themselves while they were taking Effexor. Look at the percentage of those taking the drug that attempted to kill themselves. Now the 2 3/4% is a great number to include in all of the other chances of getting life-ruining conditions while taking this drug. When you roll the dice over and over, and many times each day, the chances become accumlative. This is called {gambler's ruin} that you can look up and compute your chances of the drug killing you or giving you a life-ruining condition when you know the factors.

Be advised that when the drug co has their trials for drug approval by the FDA, they bar those from the trials that have suicide ideology to begin with. So the manufacturer's trials (redacted by respondent). Now the FDA has a black-box warning on Effexor that suicide thinking could be increased in those that take Effexor. Now wait a minute. Does that make you want to shout?
