Ok so the part of your post that stood out in my mind was "I feel that all of my attempts have failed".....

Ok, that sounds bad, right? Actually it isn't. It's good. It has told you what NOT to do for your depression. In other words, if we had a long list of meds, supps, herbs, strategies, to deal with depression, you just eliminated a bunch of them, so now you can turn a different direction to look at the ones you didn't do. I'm just guessing, cuz I don't know, but by this point you probably have learned that there isn't much if anything that a doctor can wriite a prescription for that is going to give you a new lease on life. If there is a med that will do that and you already know, then the problem is the choice of doctors....you need to get one who will prescribe what you want. Otherwise, there is a strong need at this time to close doors on things that don't work and look elsewhere.

Right off the bat I would mention rhodiola rosea for starters.

Secondly, food. Yeah, the grocery cart. People don't realize what kind of power the body gains when it is fueled by nutrient dense organic foods with zero crap in there. This alone is worth about 1 to 3 points of improvement on a 1-10 depression scale. Do you feel better on a high protein diet or a high carb diet? How do you feel if you don't eat any wheat products for 2 weeks and instead substitute them with gluten free products? How do you feel if you don't eat cow dairy for 2 weeks? How do you feel after a couple months when 3/4 of your meal or snack plates have colors and veggies on them instead of other crap? These are all questions you need to answer for yourself through self problng and experimentation.

We tend to see the world of american medicine as our only answer to our ills. It isn't. There are wonderful plant medicines, and there is Jesus. Invite both of those into your world and see big changes. Leave both of those out of your world and see the insanity continue.

Just how I feel, not scientific, but then, psychiatry isn't either. All I know is when someone has been on a bunch of ssris, snris, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, etc and things are not moving forward, they are barking up the wrong tree in terms of treatment choices. What more proof do we need that these things aren't right for you? One more med? One more after that? Where does it stop? And meanwhile we turn a blind eye to things that might actually work.

Anyway, I am so sorry you are in a bind. You'll get out of it.
