If a drug doesnt seel many units, then the cost is going to be high, no matter how old it is (eg Parnate)
I'd say that 10mg fluoxetine is a sklow mover, which might explain the high price. Fluoxetine isnt popular in it self, and the 10mg dose is half the normal one, so the 10mg pills would be a very slow moving line. It might be cheaper to get 20mg pills and cut them in half in future?
