The AAPs are serotonin receptor antagonists. Pretty sure you can mix them with MAOIs since they dont raise serotonin like an SSRI would.
also, for a quick fix you can try benadryl for the akathisia. Or ask your doc about cogentin or artane.
You could add metformin to the risperdal and it might help with weight gain. wellbutrin and NRIs get some use for helping with weight gain also.
bounce these ideas off your doc and see what they think.
