Have you tried increasing the effexor? 150mg is a low dose. Higher doses will give you the added norepenephrine boost. I can't drop lower than 300mg or I'll be in the same boat as you.

My meds:
Lamictal 200mg
Effexor 300mg
klonopin as needed.
