I find it good for sleep at 15mg or less. Higher doses make me feel very drowsy but agitated at the same time. Not a good feeling. It is indeed awful the next day, but not as bad as amitriptyline. I would only recommend Remeron for severe insomnia. For mild insomnia the side effects would probably outweigh the benefits.
