Zoloft, Fluanxol, sleep requirements, TD

Posted by NKP on August 9, 2011, at 3:53:34

I am currently taking Zoloft 50 mg and Fluanxol 0.5 mg per day.

I do not find these medicines sedating though I find I need two to three hours more sleep a day since I began using these medicines.

I want to try taking only 25 mg per day of Zoloft to see if this improves my sleep requirements.

I read that people who have affective disorders are more likely to get tardive dyskinesia from using antipsychotic medicines.

This is one of the reasons I think it is a good idea to combine the Fluanxol with Zoloft.

Do you think I would be more likely to get tardive dyskinesia if I reduce the dose of Zoloft?
